From the looks of it, any military papers implying training other than boot-camp stuff are likely to be fake. Maybe someone more knowledgable about the US legal system can inform Dsimon what the normal course of action would be, in case they are forgeries.

Dsimon, could you comment wether or not the information in his service records is the implication ralphie was trying to give from the papers he sent you? In other words, was the information about his early discharge a surprise to you, considering the information you were given?

Well the important thing would be the dates on those papers, if they fell within the period he was active.

43 days of military service, wow that has to be some kind of record.

That's really impressive Ralph, congratulations on having arguably one of the shortest military careers ever !

Now, would you like to try debating military subjects with a professional infantry soldier again ?

Dave! I tried to do that and you guys thought I was covering for Ralph. Its just not a good idea. I have a system worked out with CQ if any info comes down the pipe so it can be presented verbatum.

SUre I can do that. without making any references to litter boxes even!

Ralph told me a while ago about the early discharge. He told me before anyone knew about it but a little after the docs were given to me initially. I feel as though he was not trying to hedge, he may have wanted to make sure that I was trustworthy... From his perspective he gave me these docs and that takes a bit of trust... I mean as much as people here have their feelings one thing is also true:

Ralph did not have to give anything to me. In my twisted distorted logic that act tells me that perhaps there is a chance for more information to come out eventually when things settle down.... Otherwise why bother? I mean Ralph does not have to impress me.

Having said that I don't know anything about what an early discharge implies.. I do know that there are of course honerable and dishonerable discharges.

    Darrell

In addition to the discharge document which indicates just 43 days of recruit service, are you in possession of any other military based documents which might support Ralph's implied suggestion he's qualified to teach military subjects ?
