That's not really what I do. I put things in boxes. Guess I should have been more specific.

Quite an interresting topic, as I think of taking Judo. Evolved from BJJ -> Judo to strategy against stiff arming, which is all good, but just a question...
What is stiff arming? My guess is this thread would be a lot more interresting if i actually understood what you are talking about ^^

You'll lose the arm during the transition when you start the flying armbar off with his arm already extended. The arm is already set up for the plain old yank it out escape, especially in a no gi match.
Whenever I want to lock my opponent's arm down during transitions on the ground, gi or no gi, I bend his arm past 120 degrees and use a kimura grip setup involving both hands.

I basically hold everything with a kimura grip these days. Including the pen I'm currently using to grade midterms.
Persistance pays off sometimes.
And thanks for the comments to my question everyone.

I am now using my SBG standup bjj for judo to fight against the stiff arm. Been trying to pummel in. Seems to work rather well. Judoka hate it, but I am there to win. (even though i always lose).

Describe 'pummel in'?

This isn't a great vid but you can get the idea. You try to get double under arms. While actually getting double arms is quite difficult, I find if I can get one arm in and tight against the back of the shoulder, I am in decent shape.
