Well, at least we have your side. That is always better. He can chose to refute your comments or let them sit.

I hope he lets them sit. It just adds more negativity to his "holier than thou" attitude.

That's extra funny, because it's literally what he's doing.

What concerns me the most are his charitable actions... doesn't the IRS need certain forms filled out for charitable organizations? Can we verify through the IRS his authenticity in that respect?

Apparently we need to obtain a form 990 for a charity, these are publicly available. The "How To" is at: http://foundationcenter.org/getstart.../html/990.html

If the charity is not filed with the IRS, what actions are then taken?

That is an EXCELLENT question. Anybody who wants to look into this for us, please do. I'm a bit overclocked dealing with the local situation :psyduck:

I have helped set up nonprofits and helped some local cults back where I lived before Kentucky . Because of the way Ray is dodging the issue I am willing to bet that NO he has no tax shelter and neither so do NONE OF THE PEOPLE contributing and so none will receive refunds or credits on their gifts .

The first step is to find out EXACTLY what the group is called . Then call Mr. Ray's LOCAL office of the IRS .

Yeah, GuideStar.org came up empty which probably means there are no filed forms as needed for a shelter. The fact that we see photos of missionary work but not of orphans make me think (hence conjecture and not actionable) that any charity might fund the missionary before any supposed orphanage.

Ray can't even answer thye questions regarding his credentials. Do you think he will answers regarding some missionary type charity? Ray, you do appear to be a douche. You can think that is a good thing, but I assure you, it isn't.

Please look up slander. You use this word but clearly do not understand what it means. Since this thread slowly rises on google's indexing, it would do more good than harm to answer simply and clearly your VERFIABLE rank. You list a practioner of about 12 different arts most without any proof, not even an inkling of proof.

If donations were accepted for an unregistered charity, those donations must be reported as income and are taxable. That would then be up to the IRS to investigate. If there exists no charity in india, that is fraud.

So like I said , Anyone else finding it REAL hard to get any info except through the youtube video and his MA site ?

Even his site doesn't have much factual on it either .

I could really use some help on this one .

Right. IF he reported the donations as income and IF no one is claiming tax-exempt status, then he wouldn't have to "register" with the IRS.

Lest anyone think this is pointless, does anyone here remember the Million Mom March? It was a California gun-rights activist named Jim March who destroyed them almost single-handedly by proving that they claimed 503(C) tax-exempt status while doing all sorts of things 503(C) organizations aren't allowed to do. Now they're just a shell that's been "incorporated" into the Brady Campaign. They don't actually exist anymore after Jim gutted them. It was a beautiful thing to see.
