    Storming Mountain Academy Westchester NY

Can anyone tell me anything about this place (rates, atmosphere, etc.)? I'm debating about whether or not to go back to my old Aikido dojo this summer (nothing against the people, I like to train with the assistant instructor but the place is a little too pussified in general for my taste) and my Judo dojo moved so it might be too far away to go to now. I was curious about their Aikido and BJJ. Doesn't list an instructor for BJJ and I searched for the Aikido instructor's name on here to no avail. But he's a Shodokan guy so I figure someone on here might know him (Alex Izaguirre).

    Pussified?

Um, you said it was Aikido, right?

Heh, I knew someone was gonna say something about that. But yeah, basically I'm all about teh r3al Aikido. I'd say pretty much everyone at my dojo fits into the stereotypical Aikido mold (no one crosstrains, harmony talk, etc.). Except for myself, the assistant instructor, and one other guy, there's pretty much no one else that has any real martial aspirations at all. Frankly, I'm not sure if it's really worth my time and money to keep going back there when the majority of the training doesn't feel worthwhile.

    Aikido still roxorz though.
