I want to go. I live in O'Fallon IL. I know exactly where the Belleville Judo club is. Is it cool if I show up? What are the rules you guys spar under?

Yeah it is a nice small quaint gym and I liked everyone I met there . Is that the World Martial Arts place you were reviewing ?

Yes, the Judo club and World Martial Arts share the school. I love that wall to wall mat. I think I will probably be there. Do you think there will be any heavyweights?

at 6 foot and 150-ish lbs .. I was by far the smallest guy there .

Yeah you can't rightly give the Judo clubs facilities and equipment anything higher than a good solid 6 in that review . Anything else would be dishonest . They may have the best TKD in the area and very good Judo but the school is small , aging ( although very well maintained ) , with a decent amount of equipment for strikers , and more than enough for grappling/takedown work .

You're welcome to come if you want, just pay the small fee like everybody else, ya know? I've read your dojo review thread, also, and I'll just say this: You're attitude was really hostile on that thread, and you need to tone that down. We're not fairy princesses here, but you can't come to a full contact throwdown with an attitude like "I'd like to demonstrate western boxing on your little head."

Seriously, just come with a better outlook and it'll all be gravy.

Well I meant it to that guy. I don't have any problem with you guys. I just think that if someone posts a review of a school and you disagree thats fine but to be insulting about it is not cool.
I don't mind that backfist monkey disagrees with my rating for equipment. Especially since he was not rude about it. I give everyone civility. I also expect it. So don't worry, I am not going to come and be an asshole.
