He's found out that Robson has his own Mantis . . . . search that username if you're not familiar with the reference.

I have to agree with It is Fake and Jonas that focusing on the spelling of Mansor/Mansur and related conjecture is a loser. Too much room there for real world variables, and too much wriggle room. It's entirely possible that the spelling has no bearing on whether or not the content was true to Mansor himself.... may have been simply put to paper by someone else, who probably gave a rat's ass if it was spelled correctly or not.

So lets' re-focus on the glaring problems here.

My grind is on "proving" that Sakata doesnt exist. Its almost academic at this point. I mean, I cannot think of another time that I have searched long and hard and cannot find any reference to another BJJ black belt, even an obscure one.

So, between Mauricio Sakata the fake Aurelio, and the Macaco he originally said were his instructors in BJJ, we have three guys who NO ONE can find any evidence of their existence, or whether or not they are even belted in BJJ. It's pretty hard to train under three different black belts in BJJ where ZERO trace of their existence can be found.

It's also a lottery-winning coincidence that all three guys he claims to have trained under, the same three BJJ black belts no one can find any proof of existence of, have names that are CURIOUSLY similar to actual real black belts, none of which have trained this man Robson Pereira.

So, let's say Robson actually have some level of jits and can teach it, albeit its not at a black belt level. In the end we will still have established that his students have been training under a guy that is a compulsive liar in regards to his training background, and they are paying money for black belt instruction - something that has been fraudulently represented to them.

It is still a useful destination to reach, because there's plenty of legit places to train under instructors who dont have to BS on their resume and who dont get tapped by visiting lower belts.

So let's make a tasklist. Off the top of my head:

    1. Verify with Mario "Sukata" Neto that Robson is a lying sack. (unless DoD has already contacted Wolfslair about this - likely Neto will not be back until next week as he is with Bisping right now)

    2. Verify with Jorge "Macaco" Patino that Robson is a lying sack

    3. Verify with Marcus Aurelio from ATT that Robson is a lying sack

    4. Verify with the relevant visitors from the nearby Sauer school as to which whites and blues tapped Robson and with what.

    5. Find some willing visitors from Phil Migliarese's school to pay a visit and do some on-mat rank testing....just kidding, it would be humorous though to see more whites and blues embarrass this faker.

According to this old Sukata Brothers site, Mario was born in 1974 and was a purple belt when he fought Dan Severn in a vale tudo. Sherdog lists the Severn/Sukata fight in 1996, a couple of years after Robson supposedly got his BB.

I'll talk with my instructor (ATT Brown Belt) tomorrow about whether he has ever heard of this guy or if he has ever heard Aurelio mention him.

I'm not sure but I think that Aurelio trains down at ATT's main gym in Coconut Creek, Florida. I'll PM Anthony as he trains down there and may be able to speak with Aurelio personally.

My instructor has heard of the guy but does not know any thing about him. He's heard the name around but that's about it

At this point you'd be hard pressed to find someone who hasn't heard of this guy.

When this thing first blew up, I believe that some people did make inquiries of the ATT camp to see if Marcus "Maximus" Aurelio might have been the Marco "Macaco" Aurelio under whom Robson trained. This could account for their familiarity with the name if they're not familiar with it from the internet debate.

For some odd reason, the name of the Roman philosopher/emperor is extremely popular in Brazil; I belive that on the Carlson BB list alone there are a couple of people with Marco Aurelio as first and middle names.

I'll see Maximus tonight, I'll make sure I'll ask.

This is in between me going to the Gi class after what, a year of calling them poofs. :)
