Taste: 6 – Most of the other reviews for the Big Apple that I have read gush about how it is the best tasting drink on the market, and I have also read that “Xyience should get rid of their other flavors because Big Apple is where they should focus all their marketing”. Bullshit, both the Cran/Razz and the Clear taste better than this. The only reason why I didn’t give it a 5 is because everyone else loves the ****; so I figure I must be at least a little over critical. Regardless, it tastes like you are drinking a super sweet sour-apple Jolly Rancher with a bit of pear flavor mixed in. It is a bit tangy and it was not easy to drink the whole can. Oddly enough, the Big Apple flavor has Spinach Extract on the list of ingredients. {insert lame Popeye joke here}

After Taste: 2 – Yes, and it is not pleasant and lasts for about an hour after you have had the stuff.

Effects Rating Scale is 1 (water) through 10 (check in to rehab NOW!)

Energy Boost: 7 – No complaints on the kick. It gave a above average boost similar to the other Xenergy drinks.

Side Effects/Crash: 2 – None.
