    Hell yeah! Hell no!

The "Martial Arts Selection Guide/MA wiki"

This thread is an offshoot of another thread in this forum. This is a continuation of the conversation in the following thread:
    http://www.bullshido.net/forums/showthread.php?t=52983
Please refer there to find out what the balls I'm talking about.

There was some discussion about starting a project. The project has two purposes: to help guide beginners to choosing the right martial art and to inform the public to the best of our abilities about martial arts. Seeing as the original thread died, but there was some great thought near the end. I think we should continue the conversation and actually being work on and complete this project. We would be contributing greatly to the martial arts world.

Right, that would be amartial arts wiki. The more important part is the beginner's guide part. It's a similar wiki (Hell, maybe even an article within bullshido.org) but targeted at people who are selecting their first martial art.

I got you. Well, an article about selecting an MA would be good, and seeing as how you're a supporting member you'd be able to write one. Bullshido.com is supposed to be the, sort of, consumer reports for MA. Short sweet reviews of people and styles with the info a prospective student would need. It just needs more styles on there.
