    I don't know about that. It didn't help Guillard any in this fight, but it theoretically could help a fighter.

    I saw a dude on coke take a lot of punches to the face from the biggest bouncer we had on staff. The cops were not impressed.

    For fucks sake, if they are going to get caught for something, at the very least it should be for roids or performance enhancers (a-la Stephan Bonnar). But for fucking pedestrian pot and sugar candy? C'mon, these guys need to get their priorities (and their ****) straight.

    The problem is with public perception. For better or worse... me thinks... people do not see performance-enhancing substances the same as coke or pot.

    performance-enhancing substances == meh, cheater.
    coke or pot == ZOMFG!!! Junkies!!! Can someone please think of the children.

    MMA doesn't need this type of ****.

    I remember when PCP was big you would hear about guys fighting off 5 cops at once and other crazy **** like this. I would be scared to fight a guy under the influence of that stuff.

    People are so dumb. If some NHL player gets drunk every night and beats his wife, people forget about it, but if someone gets caught doing coke suddenly it's a cause for alarm! You are right though, steroids have become passe and unworthy of public outrage, just like presidents lying about affairs and blow jobs in the oval office.
