    List of concealed carry goodies...

At work, since I'm not supposed to: Bersa Thunder .380 in a belly band.

Pros: Small, reliable, surprisingly accurate for its size due to the fixed barrel

Cons: Reliability is crap before about 250 rounds have been through it. Recoil is stiffer than one would expect from a .380, because of the fixed barrel.

Out in the real world: Para-Ordnance Nitehawg in a small of the back holster.

    Pros: .45, Single Action, 10 +1, highly concealable for a .45.

Cons: Only accurate out to about 15 yards, can't play pool and expect it to remain concealed.

    Always: Spyderco Endura WAVE model.
    Pros: Spyderco. Wave. 'Nuff Said
Cons: Not available with serrations, AFAIK. Spyderco just WAVEd the rescue model, though.

Honestly, since it seems I'm always at work these days I'm probably going to sell the Para, even though I like it a lot and buy an XD in 9mm and the extra barrels for .357 SIG and .40. I'll be sad to see it go, but there's not much point to a CCW pistol that you don't actually ever wear and I use my 6" Taurus titanium .357 for home defense, so... yeah.

I dig that so many guns are stolen in the US and smuggled into Canada. Otherwise, it really would be a pain in the ass to buy prohibited weapons.

    "Oh, Canada....."

Driving through Canada was "interesting" to get to Alaska. Shipped the handguns via a licensed dealer. Kept a 12 gauge and a winmag in the van driving up. Customs in BC questioned me for 45 min about where my hidden handguns were concealed in the vehicle. They took every piece of packed gear out and detained us for 3 hours.

All I really wanted was wildlife protection up through Yukon Territories.

My CCW is legit, too, it's just that many, if not most, employers around here ban firearms on their property.

My right to defend myself > Their Bullshit.

Frankly, if I have to draw, there's already another firearm in the mix and if I get fired, well fine.

Oh, and how do you like the thunderwear? Is it even remotely comfortable?

CCW > employer firearm ban. Just be discreet to not cause employer probs.
I think in situation with a CCW there's enough precedent for lawsuit preventing employer from firing you if you need to handle a postal employee.

    Thunderwear = comfy. + recommendation.
