If the company has a .br address, I'm guessing Brazil. And I believe that page was written in Portuguese... it wasn't Spanish.

haha, i found this while looking for the legalities of concealed weapons in canada. i'm pretty sure it's basically illegal to do so.

Do you know if it's legal to carry a kubotan, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kubotan , in Canada? The person I bought them from says that it's legal only if I had keys on the other end of it. I did a bit of looking on the Internet but I get mixed answers.

I did carry it around for a bit but it was awkward to keep in the pocket because it kept poking me.

I also found a lot of people recommending carrying one of those mini hard metal flashlights instead. This way, if the police asked you about, you can say it is work related or that you have trouble seeing in the dark.

As far as i know, that's correct. must have keys attached.

You can ket nylon key holsters for your belt with a 'silencer' strap that hold your keys down so they don't jingle and jangle. keeping your keys in your pocket will just put holes in em :p

One of my co-workers has a tacticLOL flashlight, and i will admit that it is pretty cool. I have a couple of super bright LED flashlights with a metal body, but they're not "tactical" just cheap. One was $15 for 15 LED bulbs, and fits nicely in my fist.

I usually have a knife or two. And yes, a Surefire, which is quite handy at night.

As far as deep concealment nasties, check out www.hideawayknife.com. Cool ****. :)

Knife and a Gerber all the time. Sometimes an Beretta M9. Sometimes an M4. Pretty soon I'll be cruising around with a 105mm cannon.

I carry a Spyderco Delica, and used to have a Comtech Stinger on my keychain (until my keys got stolen). The Delica replaced a Crawford Kasper folder. I have a small fry stun gun attached to my steering column. When I backpack, I carry a sjambok in the frame.

We've heard the "what", and some of the "where", how about some "why"?

    My what is nothing.
    My where is New York.

My why: I think my best protection in an urban environment is being streetwise and not being a macho dickhead.

It makes no sense to carry a weapon you're not prepared and able to use.

For me, the marginal protection offered by concealed weapon is not worth the risks of using it: bodily harm to myself and my loved ones, jail time, getting shot by cops.
