Because his body will adapt quickly to new training. As a result of this, after about four weeks of initial training, his schemes will need to be altered to continue progression. Otherwise he'll face stagnation and physiological as well as neurological stagnation.
Search Function. Myself, Keinharr, Koto and others have had a lot of threads about this sort of stuff.

Technically you should change every 5-6 weeks, but this is dependent upon training methods, cycles, the trainee, etc. I can't just say everyone should follow one set of training methods.

I didn't change up to much for months and was fine. Though I do understand the need to change every few weeks.
truepwrz should get his lifting started and keep at it before worrying bout the other stuff. He needs still has to lift for 2 months before worrying about this.
