    Hell yeah! Hell no!

    Finally started MMA.

So after years of procrastination I've finally got around to starting MMA training.
I've got a reasonable background in striking although not brilliant so I think this will be a real eye-opener. Judging by my experience on tueday it's going to hurt aswell, which means it must be good. Any suggestions/tips for someone starting out in MMA. I'm not really looking to compete, just become competent. I'm only doing one hour supervised training a week but it's 1-on-1 so that counts for a lot. If anyone's interested I might even start a training blog, right from the beginning as it were.
    Peace.

My best advice, walk in with an empty plate.
Don't assume that you're going to be great at say striking etc (from the TSD background), just listen with open ears and become a sponge. And, glue your knuckles to your head to learn to block correctly hehe (took me a while from a TKD background ;p).
Have a blast man, it's a whole new game, and it rocks.
