Nooooo, I haven't grapple in six weeks at all, nor lifted. So much to catch on!!!!!

For the next 6 weeks or so, I will be lifting 2-3 times a week like that (probably during the weekends and once during the week). BJJ gi and MMA on Tuesdays and Thursdays, probably boxing on Wednesdays - on weeks that I do not (or cannot) lift, I may do one class of no-gi BJJ either Mondays or Fridays.

I'm not sure if I will be able to pull it off, but I will never know unless I try :tongue6:.

Tonight, I started somewhat light with the lifting today, but I gotta tell ya, I was about to puke after doing the 20 squats. I stayed in the squat rack, holding on to the bar for like a minute or two before I could walk. That was niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice.

    I really missed lifting... sniff.

The street argument is retarded. BJJ is so much overkill for the street that its ridiculous. Unless you're the idiot that picks a fight with the high school wrestling team, barring knife or gun play, the opponent shouldn't make it past double leg + ground and pound - Osiris

Yeah, the 20 reppers are murder. I'd be screaming so much on the last reps, and then stumble around the weight room like I was drunk before collapsing on a bench and hitting the pull-overs. The deep breathing would hurt my jaw so bad.

I got an SUV tire for free from National Tire and Battery. You can basically walk in anywhere and pick one up.

Doing it in a good place is a different story. I've already gotten funny looks and comments from apt. complex neighbors over hitting it.

You see, you start by hitting the tires of your neighbor's car while it still attached. Then, when they throw a fit, you go "Well hey, I got a perfectly good tire all by itself right here, mind if I hit that instead?"

It's like an immediate attitude adjustment!

I was doing overheads in between the 5x5 bench presses. I have a problem with my jaw, specially when doing cleans, that I feel I'm about to dislocate it. Freaking weird.

On topic... I cannot take my sticks and hit the heavy bag at the gym anymore, and I don't wanna deal with the neigbours when hitting a tire. That's one thing I miss since it's such an excellent workout.

Ohhhhh, lightbulb just went on!!!! I could take a tire and a sledge hammer to the park where the ARMA guys meet on Sundays and hammer away. It's 4 miles away, but **** it. I seriously doubt there will be any stupid people complaining about the noise in that park.
