Whey vs. Soy.
Soy wins!
Plus, unless you think cruelty to animals is a honorable and manly trait, soy is ethically better as well.
And for all you jackasses that will respond with some gay-bashing comment about vegetarianism, when you are old and bloated, with congestive heart failure and hormone induced breast cancer, toolin' around on your Hover-rounds, I'll be speedwalking by you in my cool old-guy sweatsuit, eating a Clif Bar. -

Too much of anything is a bad thing.
You can find info for both soy and animal products that have test cases showing massive amounts of either isn't a good idea.
Random thoughts:
ANYONE who makes sure they take their 30-40 grams of protein through whey OR soy protein shakes has their head up their ass.
Your body cannot process this much protein in liquid form. It uses what it needs immediatley upon drinking and then automatically dumps the rest - hence the mysterious fact that when you drink a lot of protein shakes per day you end up in the toilet a lot more...
Your body takes time to break down food and extract the protein (and other goodies...). This allows your body to take in its 30+ grams OVER time.
The whole '30-40 grams in a shake thing' is a product of the supplement industry designed to make you give them more money.The Wastrel - So attractive he HAS to be a woman.

I'm not a vegetarian myself, but I think I am secure enough in my meat eating and my sexuality to say, it's funny how guys are quick to call vegetarians gay. Especially when you consider asking who is gobbling the meat?
::chuckle::
Glad to see you're proud to be a vegetarian Fighty. I do TKD and am quite proud of that. So appearantly that doesn't make you anywhere near as gay as me. LOL. Whatever.
