    Hell yeah! Hell no!
Sorry I'm feeling bored, so I'll post some highlights from http://www.jukokai.com/

"Juko-ryu Toide students are taught to never attempt a Toide throw unless the opponent has first been struck or kicked with a Shorin-ryu Karatejutsu technique. Thus Juko-ryu Toide was designed by Professor Sacharnoski to work in direct conjunction with Karatejutsu."

Er... what? I can only hope the opponent is a Shorin-Ryu stylist then.

"Professor Sacharnoski first began training in Dai Yoshin-ryu in 1954 under Professor Albert C. Church Jr., who in turn had received his training from the Yokota family of Japan. Professor Church died in 1980, and the last of the Yokota family died in the early 1990s.

In 1997, in an effort to keep the Dai Yoshin-ryu name alive to honor the Yokota family and Professor Church, Rod Sacharnoski founded his own system of Dai Yoshin-ryu, which is a registered division of Juko-Kai International. His art retains much of what he learned in the original Yokota style."

So, to honor an art he had learned from someone else, he claims he founded it. That's nice.

"As many of you may know, Hatsumi Soke recently honored Dr. Sacharnoski and his accomplishments with a high grading from the Bujinkan."

Kano will be waiting at the Pearly Gates for this guy. LOL!

Actually, Sport Judo didn't get it's legs until around WW2. I think from the way Sach man was trying to do it, he was sticking kind of close to what Kano was doing. Just an opinion though.

    Update:

Rod was supposed to appear in court yesterday to answer the charges of Telephone Harassment and Forgery. He did not show, which means that the Plaintiff will automatically win by default. Since these are felonies, the information will be forwarded to the States Attorney to determine if criminal prosecution is a possibility.

That being said, you may soon be able to add the words, "Convicted Felon" to his list of titles.

Well - glad to see another vote for "Mutt" and Jeff.
Applaud away.. and notice it not go anywhere...

Hey-Jenfucius- Noticed you were from Lung-Eyeland..
They have Jukokai in Huntington and out in Nesconsit as well as Brooklyn. Since your a kung fu kinda guy you could go compare "Iron shirt" skills and make your own rational judgements based on experience of meeting people rather than passing judgement on the net.

(If your close to Baldwin I could have you stop by one of my black belts but he's not very friendly ;) )

    November. Nothing yet....
    waiting impatiently...
    ;)
Oh yeh.. I noticed the thread said legal against Juko-kai.
Thats not the case . The case is not against JKI. It is JKI against the dynamic duo that has been going on for years on the internet. Looks like the counter-whatever didn't fly so far...
    the saga continues..sigh
