Taste: 2 – Awful, simply awful. The best description of this crap I can come up with is carbonated lemon/lime Gatorade with ten times the sugar. Three of the first five ingredients in the can are some form of sugar, i.e., high fructose corn syrup, glucose, and sucrose.

After Taste: 1 – yes…it does, and it is NOT pleasant.

Effects Rating Scale is 1 (water) through 10 (check in to rehab NOW!)

Energy Boost: ? – I honestly have no idea if this sorry excuse for a drink has any “boost” effect; I couldn’t get beyond four sips before pulling in to CVS and picking up a Rumba juice. From an objective stand point, this drink has as much caffeine as Rockstar’s Zero Carb but unfortunately tastes even worse than that can full of rhino sweat.

Side Effects/Crash: 1 – No idea.

Bookoo is one of the few things that seems to give my friends a buzz.

I'm pretty much immune to caffiene at this point, other then needing about 300mg a day to not get withdrawl symptoms, so I can't really rate drinks.

Yeah, I have not written the brand off entirely as there are quite a few flavors and the caffeine content is one of the highest per 16oz out there.

However, the bite flavor was nasty.
