Are chest pains ever normal? I've had chest pains once or twice before but never during exercise.

Is it normal? Not really.

However, many causes are nothing particularly serious. It could be heart attack, a pulled muscle, reflux, pancreatitis, or any number of other things both serious and not. Ask a doctor to help you figure it out.

I'm not a doctor, nor do I play one on T.V. or the internet. But, it was the "squeezing" description to which feedback was referring that bothered me the most.
