    Hell yeah! Hell no!
Now that I have had the pleasure of meeting everyone that is on both boards..I will go out on a limb here and say that Tom did offer to Train Coda at one time. He would have to start at the bottom just like any other student of his. So far Coda has not taken him up on his offer, which leads me to believe he does not want any help.

Integrity is everything. No matter what style you teach.
TMA, MMA. Doesn't matter. If you have no integrity, you
have no business teaching the martial arts.

    Nitpicking I know --

but last I checked, 'expectable' is not a word.

It's either the dyslexic, retarded cousin of 'acceptable' or the writer is ESL or scarcely literate.

    /rant off. Sorry.
Actually, I stand corrected. 'Expectable' is in fact a legit word according to dictionary.com -- so I was wrong.

I still have a minor gripe with it -- it's a poor choice of word and used poorly/improperly.

BUT -- I was wrong about it not actually being a word.

/rant mostly off :) Regardless, looks like Coda is 'busted' -- I wonder what he'll do now?

I apologize for having pasted the review here before it was completed.

However I do think that the gist of it is very clear: Coda scott's skill level is below that of what a your panel would expect from a black belt. I don't think that's going to change in any of your revisions.

I would suggest that if you wish to discuss a mater in private that you configure your forum so that only panel members can enter such discussions. In lieu of this, I would be happy to remove the draft I pasted here and replace it with the final version once it's ready.

Another suggestion: Put the "executive summary" first, and follow that with the individual reviews.

If Coda is truly serious about martial arts as he claims, I think the best course of action for him is to close his school and go train under an actual instructor. In a way, coda has been a victimized by whoever handed him those black belts. Now he is repeating the cycle of bullshido by victimizing his own students. This needs to stop.

I think the summary of this panel should be as public as possible so that each and every students is informed about the skill level of their so-called instructor. That means printing out copies and handing it to students as they exit Coda's class.

He will of course claim that the panel vindicated him and certified that his technique was "Advanced", he'll put a solid spin on the "advanced" and grant himself another BB rank. Then he will move to a different town or maybe even just across town and open a new school. On his new website he will list everyone on the panel as his instructors.
Coda is so clearly delusional that I can really envision no other outcome.

I think he gave himself the black belts. No one can find a shred of evidence the guy he claims gave him the belts ever existed.

I for one am glad that it is up. I do not think words should be changed in order to satisfy coda..if he can not live with what was said about him that is his problem. We were getting tired of being asked when is the report going to be posted.
