    Hell yeah! Hell no!
I've got a problem with my left elbow.
When I move it in any way with any resistance, it hurts. Push, pull or torque, if theres any resistance at all, I get a very unpleasant twinge in the soft tissues of the elbow.
I've no idea how I did it (I'm blaming my girlfriend and her voodoo magic) and I'm at a loss as to how to cue it.
I can't rest it because I use it to change gears in my car and I have a very stiff gearbox.

    Thoughts?

Trying using the other hand to beat off with for a while...J/K!!! Sorry, couldn't resist that :o)

Possibly you over extended your elbow doing a technique. As far as I know, all you can do is rest it. I'd suggest a trip to a dr and get some real medical advice.

Probably hyperextension or repetitive/overuse injury. Rest, give it a couple days and if you still have discomfort go to the doctor.

    Sam,

I've had this in my right elbow too. Rest! Ice! Lots of anti-inflamatories. No weight lifting or hard contact w/ that arm for awhile...

It sounds like tennis elbow, which means life is going to suck for me. Hell... I primarily masturbate with that arm.
Cheers for the advice. I'll see my doctor later on in the week.

Sam, it doesn't have to be tennis elbow. Tendonitis has the same symptoms, and that's what I had. Just follow the R.I.C.E routine http://www.physsportsmed.com/issues/1996/10_96/rizzo.htm and take anti-inflammatories like naproxin sodium. You should be ok. Just don't restart serious activity before you're ready. Give yourself time to heal.

    Good luck! <img src=icon_smile_sad.gif border=0 align=middle>
