    Hell yeah! Hell no!

Knee pain after kick in thigh.

Alright, i was sparring with a friend today. He's big.

Anyway, i got kicked in the thigh. We were not going gung-ho but he put more mass into it then he intended.

    SO my thigh hurts alot.

But my KNEE is also hurting, like i landed wrong or something.

    My thigh hurts alot more.

But why do i feel it in my knee like it was twisted or something?

Has this happened to anyone else where they hurt thier knee when being kicked in the thigh.

Since your quadriceps are attached to your knee, It's pretty normal to feel pain in your knee after getting your tree trunks chopped down. Ice FTW.

After icying it, wrap it. I got kicked on the outside side of my left hamstring, just a hairline above the back of the knee. I hurted not much, but just enough to make me limp a little for a few days. Icying it immediately (and for the next 24 hours), and icy-hot with an ace wrap did the trick for me.

The kick wasn't that strong, but it must have hit a sweet spot or something. It could also be that your leg buckled a bit when it got kicked, moving your knee in a less than unhealthy way, even if only by a little.

Rest and watch some TV in the meantime.

The street argument is retarded. BJJ is so much overkill for the street that its ridiculous. Unless you're the idiot that picks a fight with the high school wrestling team, barring knife or gun play, the opponent shouldn't make it past double leg + ground and pound - Osiris

Good know I'm not alone in this!

SO it's common then? not that I'm not going to be careful if it is.
