    Surely you know the deadly 'yoo kant kwite sea mee' face wobble that is part of every ninja's training. Very important for operating in the CCTV infested urban environment

    The bujinkan stuff I did was the standard larp. But the only people there were 3 newbs, one experiences dude and the 10th dan in ninjerism and BJJ purple instructor (1 instructor in case it's not clear). No sparring. He was very happy to let us spar BJJ though, which I was happy about. It was just drill a few things (all from guard) and then just experiment, which I liked

    yoof is not my problem. I went through my "ninja" phase but it was about 20-some years ago and (lucky for me) there was nowhere teaching the deadly skills necessary for me to "strike hard and fade away into the night".

    At least it wasn't the Aikijutsu/Jujutsu combo. I sampled that for a while.. and it turned me on to some of the stand-up BJK stuff (at least the good part of the footwork and whole body movement). I can sympathize with your pains with Ninjerisms.. I too have suffered. Keep training BJJ, you can't go wrong if your instructor can beat you every time.

    How much did you people pay for gis? Also, skinnywhiteguy, do you spar your BJK stuff?

    Sparring? Yes. Usually one guy is designated to be more aggressive so that there is some pressure.

    It is interesting how the compliant training assimilates (and doesn't) into randori.
