I have a semi-auto Marlin .22 that my dad gave to me when I was young. It has my name engraved on it with the year 1988.

My Tec-22, excessive jamming and all.
Reminds me of my dumb days of gangstaism. The hood mentality is crippling disease, that attacks your nervous system. It makes you nervous of the system. Gangsters and hood rats are especially susceptible to this growth stunting mentality. The hood is where I'm from, but it's not what I am. The hood is where I'm from, but it's not what I am. --Keith David--Ice Cube

My 3rd generation Glock 17.
I've had it since 1998, and for a while, it was my only firearm in my collection, since I was a dirt-poor grad student at the time.
This pistol has eaten everything I've fed through it, ranging from light loads, all the way to hot loaded Winchester Ranger 127 grain +P+, without a hitch. It was also the gun that I used to fire my very first batch of reloaded ammunition.
Accurate, reliable, and fits my hand just right. Knowing that I have 18 rounds of Winchester Ranger 127 grain +P+ JHP ammo in there, gives me that feeling of the warm fuzzies.
I also learned how to carry concealed better with this gun. I ended up junking all of my ballistic nylon holsters, and bought my first decent holster for it, and found that concealing a full size pistol was certainly possible just using an untucked short as a concealment garmet.
Not only has this gun served me well throughout the years, but has also been the gun that many new folks have shot, too. After an hour's of time with my .22 LR pistol (Ruger 22/45), I let them try their first centerfire handgun (my Glock 17), and if I've done my part of educating them on proper trigger mechanics, and not flinching, then they do just fine with it.
I will never sell this gun. It's just too significant to me, and I've been through a lot with it.
