Taste Rating Scale is 1 (absolute shite) through 10 (tastes like happy)
Taste: 5 – Meh…pomegranate smomagranate, what is it and who cares, honestly. It’s like the “passion fruit” and “guava“ drinks, nobody cares that you sound more tropical than orange or pineapple, but, some marketing think tank somewhere has determined that “exotic” sounding fruit drinks sell better. Well, whatever it is, almost all pomegranate drinks are dark red to purple in color and taste like warm blueberries.
After Taste: 2 – Yes…it forms a thin film on the back of your tongue and roof of your mouth; almost like a blueberry fruit roll-up that gets caught at the back of your mouth.
Effects Rating Scale is 1 (water) through 10 (check in to rehab NOW!)
Energy Boost: 6 – Yup, there is a boost. But, there are MUCH better tasting drinks on the market. Boost was noticeable within the first 30 minutes and wore of noticeably within two hours. There is a fairly high caffeine content as compared to guarana (204 mg compared to 20 mg) and there are substantially less Vitamin B supplements in this drink than others. Not sure if the lack of other typical ingredients lessened the length of effect or not but it may be possible.
Side Effects/Crash: 2 – None.
