Taste Rating Scale is 1 (absolute shite) through 10 (tastes like happy)
Taste: 4 – No great leap of taste here. If I knew how the hell to “lightly carbonate” something I could make this crap myself. Step 1 – Buy one of those green plastic lime juice containers from the grocery store; Step 2 – Buy a 1 pound bag of Splenda artificial sweetener; Step 3 – Combine entire contents of plastic lime, entire bag of Splenda, and 2 cups of water; Step 4 – Stir vigorously; Step 5 – Put crap into an already inundated Energy Drink market; Step 6 - ????; Step 7 – Make Profit!!! You will be happy to know that as the stuff in the can warms up it begins to taste like you are chewing on the rinds of the lime as apparently the artificial sweetener devours the juice… Niiicce (in my best Borat voice).
After Taste: 6 – Yes…and it’s not good.
Effects Rating Scale is 1 (water) through 10 (check in to rehab NOW!)
Energy Boost: 7 – For as crappy as this stuff tasted, it did have a noticeable boost. I was not able to find any info on exactly how much caffeine is in this stuff but given the boost I would be willing to bet it is in the range of 130-170 mg per 16oz can.
Side Effects/Crash: 2 – None really to bitch about.
