I wouldn't play with creatine before a fight if I were you. I'm completely talking out of my ass since I've never fought nor cut weight. I do know, however, that creatine can give me some serious stomach problems, specially if I don't hydrate well.

The street argument is retarded. BJJ is so much overkill for the street that its ridiculous. Unless you're the idiot that picks a fight with the high school wrestling team, barring knife or gun play, the opponent shouldn't make it past double leg + ground and pound - Osiris -

Creatine is not to be taken before your fight. It can give you a tummy ache (seriouisly, don't say tummy ache anymore), but it's something that you take long term. It doesnt work right away. You need to be taking it for a week straight to get anything from it (wether loading it or not, it doesnt matter).
You wont be taking creatine while cutting weight because it holds water, so theres no reason to take it, all you might get is an upset stomach, thats it.
Also, why and how much weight are you cutting? If this is an amateur fight you shouldnt be cutting water weight at all. Maybe 1 or 2 pounds, but if its an AM fight and your weighing in the same day as the fight, cutting weight will only hurt you. You need at least a full day and good nights sleep to replenish water lost to cutting.
If its a pro fight and your weighing in the day before forget what I said. -
