    Taimak from "The Last Dragon"

I just happened to see "The Last Dragon" this weekend, and wondered what Taimak (the star of the movie) was doing now. So I looked him up on Wikipedia, and lo and behold I found his website. That webaite is here: http://www.taimak.tv . The reason I bring this up, is that on the site is a movie he made with a buddy of his (Click on Multimedia). As you might expect it is a martial arts based film (A very weak version of The Transporter). I suggest you have a look at the choreographed martial arts for a good laugh. The best parts IMO are the "3-on-1 fighting" and the "Muay Thai" fighter he goes up against. I found myself laughing so hard at this, that I knew I had to share with everyone.

    Enjoy.

There were moments watching that when I felt I had to turn away, so embarressed I felt on behalf of thoise attempting to act. Everysecond of that "film" star wars phantom menace gets a little better...

The film was hockey but as he stated it was just for fun. It reminds me of the fims we used to make in college.

Taimak is a good guy but he will be a couple of rungs under Micheal Jai White in terms of acceptance as a serious actor.

Yeah, when he pulled over at flower shop and started kissing her. Thought he was going to do her there. Another thing, why where the guys attacking him? Lousy fighting. Just wondering, is he gay?

Actually, the coreography wasn't so inherently bad as it was SLOW. Seriously, coming from a guy that looks so athletic, I wonder why every damn move was performed at half pace with no damn conviction or energy whatsoever.

Need I remind you that you Micheal Jai White played 'Spawn'. No wait, bad example. He had a part in 'Exit Wounds' with Seagal...okay, another bad example. Oh, I got it, he was 'Tyson'. That should probably count for something, I guess.

Yea but Taimak played Dalton, in roadhouse the musical! The baddest bouncer to ever wear tights.

I thought Michael Jai White was good in Undisputed 2 although the role didn't require much as per acting. That's not to say he was terrible, I liked his performance and compared to the other films he was making was refreshing to say the least. For a direct to DVD movie it was good, and definitely worth the dollar I spent to watch it.

As for this, yes it was pretty corny. But coming from the guy who played Bruce Leeroy not so much. It just seems like something that kind of came together during a weekend which extended to several weekends. Admittedly considering the target audience (Taimak fans) its not so bad, but I don't feel it was suppose to be good to begin with.

On a side note, he looks nothing like the Bruce Leeroy I remember. Maybe he's found Bullshido thanks to the amount of traffic we've given his site.
