How much would it cost in testing fees to get to black?

Boxing, like Muay Thai, doesn't have any belts. You just show up and train. As for my old Karate place, it had the typical McDojo belt system.

So am I right in stating that anything more than three belts and it's Bullshido? (unless you're wearing tartan with no drawers)

No all Karate has a few belts but my old club REALLY wanted to hang on to younger students. Anyone over 16 was handed a red belt the second they bought a suit.

Testing fees im not sure about, I remember £4 for the belt but I dont recall having to pay to attempt the grading.
