Taste Rating Scale is 1 (absolute shite) through 10 (tastes like happy)
Taste: 6 – Warm orange juice, and not the “good” OJ. You know the one brand of OJ that under no circumstances will you ever buy? This is “that” OJ”. Now, it is not that it is undrinkable; it actually is not bad by energy drink standards. It is simply too syrupy and sweet for my taste. If you have to choose between this and one of the standards (Red Bull, Monster, Rockstar, etc.), I’d pick the sugar free version of the “standard”…besides, this “Third-World OJ in a can” barely makes the grade for boost...although, I bet it WOULD make a kick-ass tequila sunrise or screwdriver. On that note, the possibilities seem endless.
After Taste: 2 – It sticks with ya for a bit….yup, a bit too long.
Effects Rating Scale is 1 (water) through 10 (check in to rehab NOW!)
Energy Boost: 4 – Lame, lame, lame, lame...lame, lame, lame lame. I have no idea why this particular drink had almost no effect on me. It boasts 160mg of caffeine which is par for the course as energy drinks go. I would say that “maybe it’s the juice”, but, both the Monster-Khaos and the Rockstar-Juiced packed much more of a whammy than this did…odd indeed.
Side Effects/Crash: 1 – None.
