at promotions at my old gym, new blues usually had to go from the knees against two white belts. pretty much the only thing to do is turtle up & ride it out ... though I did once see a new blue (a complete stud) tap one of the whites (a total *****) with an armlock.

The funny thing is I actually heard about the idea from my brother (army) and showed up the next day to class to find that's what we were doing that day.

I tapped a blue with a baseball bat choke while getting RNC'ed and then tapped the white belt RNCing me. I'm no stud. I've seen my instructor get ganged up on and tap 3 out of four (and more).

The point being is there is actually a fair amount you can do, IF you can apply submissions quickly. Which is what it is a great tool for.

We've done the tag team thing; its pretty fun actually. Your guy is getting mounted and tags you with his foot then the other guy suddenly has to defend the RNC. Pretty good stuff.

yup seen some tag team stuff before....its quite entertaining

I've seen one where it looks like its a miletich promoted event....(there was a miletich in every bout)......tim sylvia tagged with pat miletich himself...

How does that work? BJJ + Last Standing... that seems like a contradiction in terms! LOL :icon_bigg

This is so old, haven't you ever seen real fights? It looks EXACTLY like this in Braveheart, except with swords.
