    Hell yeah! Hell no!

    Quick NAGA/Arnold's review

+ Started on time both days and finished way ahead of schedule, 16 mats must have helped
    + Solid reffing
    + Good attendance

    - Changed the rules to allow neck cranks the morning of adult no-gi
    - Medals didn't arrive so they're in the mail...
    - A little expensive at 100 US for two divisions

    Anyone else go to this?

A lot of my teammates participated but I had ringworm + flu so I missed it. How'd you do?

Seven guys from my club came. I competed in Super heavyweight Masters (gi) and Super heavyweight adult (gi). I only have 5 months experience and I got owned. It was my first tournament and a hell of a lot of fun.

It ran extremely smooth. I'll have some vids later if anyone is interested.

On another note I heard Relson went ahead and held his event the same weekend anyway, flying in the face of the Arnold's, and only had about 40-50 people show up.

    Bustardo,

I must have met you, I competed (well, that may not be the right word!) in Masters BB Superheavy. Wasn't there long as I went 0-2 and had a flight to catch, but did we meet?

I'm a white belt, so if you were in Black belt masters we probably didn't meet. I walked around and talked to a lot of guys. I think I have about 10 matches recorded. I'm in the process of uploading some of them now.

My bad, I meant Blue Belt, not black.

I go about 6'5, no hair, sported a blue ATT gi.

My performance, on the other hand, was quite forgettable. lol

Oh yeah, well then I probably did see you while we were warming up. In my 2nd match I was actually wearing a bullshido shirt under my gi.

My first match was going well for me. The guy shot in for a double, I sprawled and got him in a headlock and then I rushed to take his back. Rushed being the key word as iI was way too high on him. He leaned forward and I fell off. I tried to pull guard afterward but only got him to half guard which I couldn't get out of and I ended up getting choked.

The 2nd fight (adults white belt) Wasn't as bad, but the guy I was up against and I kept trying to take each other down most of the fight. I blundered a throw (Didn't get his leg out of position and he ended up slamming me on the ground. I pulled half guard on him and was trying to get out but time ran out. Oh well... that was a hell of a place to go for my first tourney. (Videos are still uploading). My club took home two 2nd place medals and a first place for lightweight no gi. Not bad for sending down 7 guys.

I have 1 black belt heavyweight match.
4 blue belt Light weight matches.
4 white belt Super heavy matches (my friend/team-mate ended up taking 2nd)

I think another of my team mates recoreded a few of the other fights as well.

Ok, So here's the 2nd half of the 2nd match, which starts with me fucking up a throw and then not being able to escape from under the guy. Yep, I suck.
