    (Sugar, 0 g / 54 g Regular)

Taste Rating Scale is 1 (absolute shite) through 10 (tastes like happy)

Taste: 6 – Just like slightly flat Sprite or 7-up with the regular being a little bit sweeter. However, there is honestly not much difference in taste between the regular and sugar free in my opinion.

After Taste: 5 – Not bad, nothing really to speak of.

Effects Rating Scale is 1 (water) through 10 (check in to rehab NOW!)

Energy Boost: 6 – Meh; big deal. If a wake’me-up is what you are looking for then this Rockstar is probably not gonna “do it” for ya. It all depends on your caffine tolerance. Don’t get me wrong, there is a little boost here. However, given the prevalence of their marketing you get a certain expectation for something more and it ends up being no better than any of the others where “boost factor” is concerned. However, in 2007 Rockstar cut the amount of Guarana and slightly raised the amount of caffeine in there flagship drink distributed in the United States. Prior to 2007 Rockstar boasted approximately 400 mg of Guarana Seed Extract per 16 oz can; they have now dropped that down to approximately 50 mg per 16 oz can. While some of the boost has apparently been sapped from the American product; it is rumored that the Rockstar distributed in Canada still has the elevated Guarana levels. So long as you can deal with the flapping heads and funny accents buddayy, you could knuck your why across the boarder and get the real ****.

Side Effects/Crash: 5 – A little bit of lethargy about 3 hours after drinking either the regular or sugar free.
