Have you had a chance to read any of these titles? If so what would you say the real core three to five book on Kyokushin to be? Which ones would rank as "Read these before reading anything else on this art"?

Sorry, haven't read any so I can't personally answer that question and it might be a day or two before I get a resonse on that thread on kyokushin4life. (I'll still ask tho')

But I think they are listed categorically with importance in each category in descending order. (Thus the top books best) especially since Oyama's lil' "What is Karate?" "This is Karate" books are up top. Remember, Kyokushin Guys fancy ourselves as slight philosophes so you'll get a lot of abstraction in many of the books (But not all, I'm told)
