I like Dana's take on that.
And he's right Chuck's hanger-ons are dumb fucks for letting him go on that show for any reason
i just watched the Dana vid
he wasnt well? i was hangin with Chuck on monday...and sat with him for the premier of the movie 300
he looked fine to me and everyone else around him would agree
If he was sick, he sure didn't show it, when he was gettin amp'd up talkin about Silvas fight, he was movin around even shadow boxing a bit, tryin to show us what he'd do to silva...etc...
bottom line is, chucks a partier....so he probably just drank a bit too much
he mentioned that his contract with UFC is not what everyone thinks...he's actually only got one fight left! And the perception that Chuck and Dana are cool with each other? heh, he says he barely ever talks to Dana outside of the public appearances. They're not friends.
Which i guess is in line with what monte cox said on the beatdown, about how Miletich doesnt deal with Dana at all anymore (well documented lawsuit), Matt Hughes and anyone else Monte Cox has under his agency is having issues with Dana

Too late. They tried selling to Vinnie, but he said no. (I guess the XFL is still fresh in his mind)

I usually don't like Dana, but he is just fucking right in this one. I like how he says "fucking geniuses" about PRIDE. LOL.

Poor man needs to get some rest (and get a grip), and as Dana said, he needs to change the people around him.
Whoever let him do that is a fucking leeche,

The street argument is retarded. BJJ is so much overkill for the street that its ridiculous. Unless you're the idiot that picks a fight with the high school wrestling team, barring knife or gun play, the opponent shouldn't make it past double leg + ground and pound - Osiris
I can't understand why the UFC would even bother to buy Pride, if Pride is really going under. I can see the UFC doing what they did with the WFA, snatching up all the free agents and distributing the talent between the WEC and the UFC.
The WFA was different. Most of those fighters wanted to be based in America (the ones they did get, the ones they didn't were already on bad terms with the UFC). The buttload of Japanese talent PRIDE is guaranteed to release should the organization implode would attract foreign orgs like K-1 and maybe Bodog.

WWE is the one with the TV conections, and infrastructure and I think the only option Sakikibara wouldn't feel embarresed selling to.
Like I said I think for the right price or deal Vince will buy it.
