    ^Please do^

I don't understand why people from TMA and others try to create anti-boxing, MT and sometimes grappling. The chance they'll have to defend themselves against a skilled fighter using one of these arts is small, and if it's a self defense situation, you're not going to square off with the guy and fighter him long enough to "tire him out". I know it's been said before, but these things are just to help the CMA/TMA/etc crowd feeling superior to people who put hard work in and not just theory.

Such things exist? I'm serious, is there a link to said 'duel', and is it as disastrous as it sounds?

    "Fierce Dragon Crosses stream"

This is definitely sounding more like a sexual position than a fighting technique

There is one Kung Fu technique that does work... the name is self explanatory "Fierce Chicken flees the kicking of it's but".

    Here's the MT page:

    http://www.wongkk.com/general/videos-muay-thai.html

This is a continuation of the previous training lesson, with Sifu Kai Uwe using fast Muay Thai attacks, and Sifu Darryl Collette using Dragon Hand. Notice that good footwork and good bodywork are important for a successful application of this Dragon Hand technique.

Editorial Note: Darryl told Sifu Wong, "I feel that this clip directly demonstrates why beginning students should not go straight into free sparring. While still being able to avoid Kai's strikes, I was unable to implement the counter until he slowed down to allow me to progress within my development and understanding of the successfull counter.
    Wtf?

I really like the look of smug, mastabatory self-satisfaction that crosses the sifu's face when he completes a 'technique' against someone who is heaving a sloppy/slow/ineffectual/limp wristed/hap-hazard roundhouse kick or hook at him. After he throws his opponent to the ground he sometimes will look up, shrug his shoulders and smile as if to say; "What did you expect? Wasn't it obvious that the 'Tiger Ruins His Sisters Wedding by Getting Way Too Drunk at the Party and Then Divulging Embarrasing Family Secrets' technique was going to counter that MT kick?"

Side-kicks, as in the Shaolin pattern “Happy Bird Hops up Branch” is an effective counter against a Muay Thai fighter’s or a Boxer’s approach.
