Erle is famous for saying "In a real fight, using technique will get you killed. you must not use techniques in a fight, but rather become an animal." - I think that opinion is entirely true, if all your "techniques" were Erle's.
"[Fighting for Points] is doubtless very pretty, and invariably draws applause, but preferences should always be given to blows that do some business, to good straight hits that do something toward finishing the fight.
A man who has carefully trained for brilliant tapping play, will find himself considerably out of it in case he is called upon to do any real work."

BJJ might make you a better ground fighter, but Judo will make you a better dancer. Join us... or die

The guy has got some funny ideas about what a warrior is.

There are two possibilities. Either his definition is right, in which case people like Genghis Khan and Alexander the Great weren't 'true warriors' because most of the inner calm they brought to people was the raped and dead kind, or...

Jesus, they don't think this **** through very well do they?

"I've seen many, many grapplers do... really, what are really silly things to me..."
    Erle Montaigue.

No possible way his material could look silly to many, many grapplers, of course. Erle is my new god!

This guy's productions are hillarious. He chokes on a fly in this one.

I don't even know what can be said about "toe to the neck" to defend a double leg. I can't even imagine what that would look like.
