It's called backing someone into a corner. He constantly critiques everyone while using a 10 year old video to prove he spars hard. Now, the exuses of money, etc are pretty much taken care of so, the onus is on him.

No san shou is relatively new in the context you are using. A small amount of kung fu schools spar full contact and it has nothing to do with san Shou.

Silence can be construed as an answer.

Kinda reminds me of how JFS disappeared after those pics of him were put up teaching "Ground Fighting".

This is a clip that Rudy posted on the site that must not be named.

I don't like his posting style etc, but this clip shows some excellent bagwork.
    FWIW.

Read this for flexibility and injury prevention, this, this and this for supplementation, this on grip conditioning, and this on staph. New: On strenght standards, relationships and structural balance. Shoulder problems? Read this.

My crapuous vlog and my blog of training, stuff and crap. NEW: Me, Mrs. Macho and our newborn baby.

New To Weight Training? Get the StrongLifts 5x5 program and Rippetoe's "Starting Strength, 2nd Ed". Wanna build muscle/gain weight? Check this article. My review on Tactical Nutrition here.

t-nation - Dissecting the deadlift. Anatomy and Muscle Balancing Videos.

The street argument is retarded. BJJ is so much overkill for the street that its ridiculous. Unless you're the idiot that picks a fight with the high school wrestling team, barring knife or gun play, the opponent shouldn't make it past double leg + ground and pound - Osiris

He's moving his hands nicely, but he's just standing in place. Anyway, didn't JFS ever teach him that the double end ball is a useless waste of time?

That's what you consider bag work?

    Bags, like boards...

    Don't hit back.

He's got decent timing on that bag, but he's not bothering to move his head and he's not bothering to keep a guard up at all. He's also telegraphing a lot of punches by letting his elbow pop out.

When I boxed, I always sucked with the double end.
Grappling is a lot more intuitive for me than striking was.
