I picked Trigg for the upset over Misaki, but holy ****. I was leaning towards actually picking Henderson by decision, but never would I have expected him to beat Silva by KO.
Full results for those who didn't see it and want to spoil yourselves -
Joachim Hansen over Jay Ireland by armbar in the third round
Trigg over Misaki via decision
Sakurai over Danzig via KO
Jay Lee (late replacement for Nakamura) over Wiuff via guillotine
Sergei Kharitonov over Mike Russow via armbar
SOKOUDJOU over Rogerio Noguiera via KO
Shogun over Overeem via TKO (GnP)
Nick Diaz over Gomi via gogoplata
Henderson over Silva via KO
No real controversy to any of the stoppages or decisions - they were all pretty clear cut. I got a lot of picks wrong, but I think everyone did - who the hell was calling for Nog to get KOed?

That may have been the best mma card I have ever seen. Usually if I get one or two good fights I am satisfied but every fight was exciting. Pride really put on a great show.

Did Gomi get hammered before his fight? He couldn't lift his hands above his waist after two minutes into the first round. And he was throwing punches that were missing by over a foot at times. It was like he was fighting in the dark or something. Lots of respect to Diaz though, he took some heavy shots and kept going, and that gogoplata nice to see.

Diaz is when of the best, he's only lost wars to top people. Easily in my top 5 favorite fighters.
Can't wait to see these fights

I was iffy on buying this one, but I am glad that I did. Great night of fights. So many upsets. I only wish that I put some money down on the Diaz/Gomi fight because I had a good feeling that Diaz was going to win it.

Yeah, Diaz was pummeling Gomi, outboxed him after a while too. I thought he'd get a first round KO for a second, but I had a feeling he had the fight once he and Gomi really started going at it. As for Henderson, there was no way in HELL I saw that one coming.

One thing I love about Diaz (besides his charming personality) is how exciting he is to watch. His aggressive bottom game is really a breath of fresh of air, too.
