This one surfaced on a routine Ashida Kim search.
At first blush, I though McDojo, http://mrbba.com a club where you can get a job as an instructor and the list of qualifications required doesnt include Black Belt. Oh and they have a "Mixed Martial Arts" program, but I digress, because though poor Matt Randall is a McDojo, he has a very interesting associate.
I wandered through the instructors list and found this gem:
The following instructors are independent owners and operators of their respective programs. They are not employees of Matt Randall's Black Belt Academy.
Instructor Name: Chris Bashaw
Christopher Bashaw is chief instructor for Mizu Tama Dojo and soke of Kosho Hoho Yooga or “Old Pine Tree Method of Yoga”, a blending of Kosho Ryu Kempo and Tai Chi. Mr Bashaw has been awarded the titles of Soke and Grandmaster directly from Yodansha International and its council. Christopher holds black belt ranking in both Shaolin Kempo Karate, Mugei-Mumei no Jitsu as well as certification in Yang style Tai Chi. He is has also been a Registered Nurse for over 2 decades and has developed his healing skills over the last 20 years by becoming a certified as a Reiki Master/ Teacher, in multiple styles, developing his own system of Reiki, Kokoro Ryu Reiki System of Natural Healing; as well as, taking vows as a Buddhist Priest (to include holding a Doctorates in Divinity); practicing herbal therapy, internal and external chi kung healing, and shamanic studies. Bashaw, sensei is also a member of The World Martial Arts Hall of Fame with a Life Achievement Award. Christopher also certifies qualified black belts in Black Dragon Mugei-Mumei no Jitsu .
He even includes a link to where he was certified by Ashida Kim for $19.95:
Arranged in the traditional manner of Self Instruction, those who read this book even once will possess the knowledge and therefore the power, equal to that of any Black Belt 1st Degree in any recognized system of martial arts known to man. That rank and the Official DOJO Certificate confirming it are conferred upon the purchase of this text.
I am in awe, I almost cant believe this one. So I kept following the links;
First to here:
September 2, 2006 Christopher J. Bashaw was presented the title of "Soke", PhD/MA; and promoted to the rank of Hachidan in Cleveland, Ohio
By Dr. E. A. Moore, Martial Arts Grandmaster, and founder of The World Martial Arts Hall of Fame Soke Council.
There are enough pics in there for their own Pics of Disaster thread.

This induction and public acknowledgement of Soke Bashaw denotes Kosho Hoho Yooga and its components as a legitimate American Martial Art.
Really? Since when?
Students, Instructors, Masters and Grandmasters whose lives have enriched and paved the way for others to excel; while maintaining highest integrity and honor for martial arts and its future, are recognized and honored.
Oooohhhh, the hypocrisy...

He refers to himself as a Reverend as well. So we all know God is on his side.
Oh, and he's just added this as well:
Kouga Ryu (Ninjutsu) Shinobi-jutsu; Matsu system (KRNS-m) TM to its training curriculum. The Yang to balance the Yin. This program can be done seperately or as a compliment to Kosho Hoho Yooga; as Kosho Hoho Yooga is a compliment to KRNS-m.
Ashida has to be pissed. Look for his fruit loops to end up poisoned...

Yooga? It's not bad enough to butcher the Japanese language, you need to work on Sanskrit too? " I'm functionally illiterate in at least 3 languages, duh."
