    Hell yeah! Hell no!

The Strongest Fighter Alive/The Conditioning King!

Yesterday I receive this email from strongerman.com affiliate Bud Jeffries.

    Greetings Matthew,

    God bless you.

Here it is... the brand new "Conditioning Machine!" from Mike Bruce.

"Phenomenal Power for Mixed Martial Arts"

    * Are you ready to stop being soft, weak and out of shape?

    * Are you ready to learn how to get unbelievably strong and
incredibly fit and have a body like a piece of streaming steel?

    * Are you ready to learn from one of the most powerful fighters
    that ever lived?

 Let Mike the Machine Bruce share his personal training secrets to
take you from couch potato, geek, average, below average, and "also ran,"
to a ultra powerful fighter with lethal strength at light speed.

    http://strongerman.com/mike_bruce/co...hine/ppmm.html

Strength, power and conditioning are the last frontiers in training for
fighting, martial arts and especially mixed martial arts. In the modern
era of combat its easy to pick up the knowledge of how to fight, but
its much more difficult to build a body that can withstand a fight. And
even tougher than that is building a body that has the kind of power to
devastate your opponents. The kind that makes you the guy that even
your buddies hate to spar with because you're just so physically
overpowering that they can't do anything with you. The kind of guy who has knock
out power in either hand or foot, knee or elbow, both in the ring and
    on the street.

The kind of guy who you better not make a mistake with because he's so
strong he could accidentally break one of your arms. The kind of guy
who even if you grapple with him technically perfect he still throws you
because you just can't withstand his power. The kind of guy who has no
physical weaknesses and is just as strong at the end of the fight as he
was in the first 10 seconds. Lean, powerful and explosive from every
angle. Muscles as hard as stone and endurance that will drive you into
    the dirt.

When you're ready to learn all this, believe me we've found the guy to
teach you. There's a reason we call him, "The Machine."

You can search all around the world of mixed martial arts, self
defense, tough guys, hard core gyms and anywhere else you think that
testosterone boils out of the walls and never find a guy this ridiculously tough
or with this incredible amount of information to share on how to make
yourself more than you ever dreamed possible.

    http://strongerman.com/mike_bruce/co...hine/ppmm.html

Let me tell you a little bit about Mike to give you an idea of why when
he talks about combat training, strength and conditioning you'd better
listen up. Mike has been fighting all of his life. He had his first
mixed martial arts fight in what was one of the original underground
tournaments held in the USA when he was only 14 years old. In that
tournament he competed against and beat instructor-level adults.

He's done nearly every martial art and won at all of them, including
various types of boxing, kick boxing, judo, jujitsu and shoot fighting.
In MMA he was both an amateur and a professional champion. He was an
honor graduate in the Marine Corp and worked as a body guard after leaving
    the service.

Over the course of his lifetime he's developed an unbelievable strength
and conditioning program. The kind that you just can't get without
hours of blood, sweat and real life in the real combat world. He's always
had a knack for conditioning people in fact when he was in the Marines
he was the guy the other sergeants picked to lead the conditioning and
bring up the others who couldn't quite make the cut. Everywhere he went,
when people watched him train people sought him out and threw money at
him to get them that kind of fit and strong. Every time he trained them
they had phenomenal success. Making incredible gains in strength,
melting off bodyfat and getting scary endurance.

    http://strongerman.com/mike_bruce/co...hine/ppmm.html

Now we've convinced him to bring those secrets to you. Secrets that he
won over the course of 20 years of hard core training and that have
allowed him to deadlift nearly three and a half times his bodyweight, to
pull insane partial deadlifts, the kind that 350lb strongmen competitors
can't do, to row weights that would make Ronnie Coleman envious. To
swing dumbbells that would make your jaw drop and perform many other
exercises that would make a grown gorilla cry. All while completely
life-time drug free, lean and having endurance that is just downright mind
boggling. (Well.. it aint so mind boggling when you see his bonus
conditioning DVD available with this offer).

I had the opportunity to personally train with Mike and watch it first
hand and let me tell you he's the real deal. I know strength and he's
got it in spades. He can teach you how to do it too. He built himself up
from 160lbs coming out of the Marines to his biggest ever a 240lb
    wrecking machine.

So if you want muscle size, he's got you covered. Yet he controls his
bodyweight and leanness at will and easily stays at 202lbs showing abs
that would make bodybuilders jealous. His conditioning programs are so
unbelievable that just for fun he'll knock off 1,000 push ups and 200
chin ups. Even without running as a regular part of his routine, just for
giggles he popped off a 15 mile run.

He is literally one of the strongest, fittest and most dangerous men
walking the planet. Yet as I have found the case is with true men, he's
also one of the nicest guys you'd ever meet and he's here and we've been
able to film him teaching you his exercises, workouts and training
secrets live in this 5 DVD set. This is no arm-chair theory. This is real
world info that's worth 10-times what we're charging for it.

    http://strongerman.com/mike_bruce/co...hine/ppmm.html

Here's just a fraction of the things you'll learn from Mike in these
    DVDs:

    * The reality of strength training (hint you can't just do
    bodyweight exercises and get strong)

    * A powerful emphasis on safety and training

    * The mechanics of the deadlift and how to perform it

    * An exercise that will make your single-leg takedown unstoppable

    * A portion of Mike's neck training that has given him what we
believe is literally the strongest neck in the world

    * Exactly how each exercise he does applies to fighting

    * Mike's personal version of the bodyweight jump squat

    * How to use heavy partials to become absolutely immovable in the
    ring

    * How to build a powerful hip snap for devastating throws and
    punches

    * How to make your body nearly impenetrable from every angle
    * And MORE

And that's just a start. There are over three hours of footage on these
DVDs along with four specific power workouts each laid out specifically
for you in a users guide on the end of each DVD.

    http://strongerman.com/mike_bruce/co...hine/ppmm.html

Here are a few more things you'll learn:

    * The importance of combination training

    * The importance of high and low reps and why to do each of them

    * Explosive exercises to jack up your power output and conditioning

    * An exercise that will jack up your ability to execute a snap
down, a knee strike, elbow strike and allow you to control your position
    even on your back

    * A couple of Mike's favorite versions of chin ups

    * How Mike does the bench press and why

    * How to use a power shrug for traps that reach from ear to
    shoulder

    * How to get whole body workouts that really work

    * How to mix your conditioning for the ultimate total package
    fighter

There's no fluff here, no wasting time. Each DVD jumps straight into
practical real world knowledge followed by technical discussion on how to
perform each of the lifts in the workout, then live footage of Mike
doing the exercises in the real world at sky high intensity at incredible
    poundages.

I was going to say something snarky about this guy but on second thought he might kill me with his mind so I better not.

The stupid in that ad and on that site made me want to stab my eyes out with a dirty spork.

First the only Mike "The Machine" Bruce I could find is: http://fcfighter.brinkster.net/fight...ighterID=13899 That's a 1-2 and 0 verifiable record and makes the entire "He had his first mixed martial arts fight in what was one of the original underground tournaments held in the USA when he was only 14 years old. In that tournament he competed against and beat instructor-level adults." thing look questionable (and by questionable I mean total B.S.)

The other major thing I found about "The Machine" is a video bouncing about the web of the ass-hat hanging himself for a few seconds to display his neck strength. No, I'm serious! Hangs himself..

That's ~$150 for 5 DVD on how-to do the most basic lifts in the know world AND I get to watch Mr. Bruce do them as well!?!? I would rather try his amazing hanging routine than have to pay money for those DVD.

Oh, and for the love of God Matthew, please don't post a 3,000 word website when a link would have been more than sufficient, pretty please.

Actually, it's spelt Grayskull. http://grneyedjay.home.att.net/images/motu-motu-02.jpg (I duck after explaining this, and run away to hide in geek shame.)

Also, if the guy can hang himself and not pass out, then he couldn't be choked out, right? I've heard this claim before from Catch wrestlers, and always wondered if it was BS.

Well, if you check the link to his fight record above you will notice that his loss to Joe Slick was a triangle choke. Now that's good irony my friend.

If I remember rightly, when he was only 290Lb e was in a car accident and it took like 3/4 fireman to drag him out of the wreckage because he was so big
