    Not to be a wet blanket but, you all know that online petitions are useless right?

    Here's a link that explains why

    While I agree that something needs to be done, an e-petition probably won't help. I would think that a letter writing campaign to the key parties would help more. Even a printable form letter for people to sign and mail is more effective than an e-petition.

    I tend to disagree, I've been part of a very large campaign to stop ICAN from adopting a new Top Level Domain. It's all been done by emails and e-petitions.

    It does work.
