Revenge of the Ninja was filmed in Salt Lake City

Does anyone remember that old cheesy film Revenge of the Ninja? I still like to think that that film was the greatest ninja film ever. I really think that it has inspired every single white American who has gone into ninjitsu because of low self esteem.

Anyway, even though the film was supposed to be in LA, according to IMDB the film was shot in Salt Lake City. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0086192/locations

After watching Revenge Of The Ninja this evening, I noticed that in the credits the film gave special thanks to American Towers, which has a website. When I look at a picture from American Towers, I see the place where the final scene of Revenge was shot! You can see the distinctive mountain vistas from the final fight scene... http://www.americantowers.org/resource/images/roof2.jpg

Now I feel like I should make a pilgrimage to Salt Lake City just to see the roof of American Towers.

I have fond memories of this movie, because my sifu cancelled class one night, and we all drove out to watch the movie. We were total jackasses in the theatre as we mocked the hell out of the movie, and we intimidated the ninja connaisseurs who were inconvenienced by our harmless tomfoolery.
