    Hell yeah! Hell no!

How old is too old?(im sure this is a dead horse but hey...)

How old is too old to start training and fighting in MMA?

How far can one go if they start training at 35 or something?(im not 35)

I look at most MMA people their like 20-25, not much older then me, and they are pro's.

How far would one go if they start training for MMA in thier 30s?

If I can get my back straightened out I would like to have at least 1 amateur MMA fight before I am 37. I am 34 now.

As to how far can you go? As far as your abilities, circumstances and opportunities will take you.

Believe me having 1 match is enough achievement for me.

For me no, Just getting rid of my sciatica and training properly for a couple of moths is my goal.

But there was a guy on the last UFN who was 40 and started training at 36 or something like that.

with what we know now about proper nutrition and training you late 30's is not to late to try and achieve something.

Success is a state of mind, just having 1 amateur MMA fight would be like headlining the UFC for me.

Randy is 43 and he's coming out of retirement to fight Sylvia.

    Does that answer your question?

But he's the best of the best, a top ranked fighter before that.

Hopefully you won't have to fight Sylvia in your first MMA match up. Heh.

I'm 45 and train six days a week.

Yeah it hurts but so what.

Clearly, putting it off longer will increase your chances of being a better fighter.

You prolly aren't going to be making a living doing it dude, but you can still have fun.

I worried about this same thing for a while. I didn't start training seriously until I was 25. I'm 27 now and I still sometimes fear I have waited too long. Conversations with guys on here has eased my mind quite a bit however.
