To be honest I have yet to meet an XMAer who claimed to be an awesome fighter, or even what they were doing WAS fighting in any sense. No I was reading other forums, saw a trend of XMA bashing (and TKD Bashing..."ZOMG THEY USE FLIPPY KICKS!" Like, their LARPing and slapfighting is any better.) and felt like venting. I was going to post a clip, but there are wayyy too many.
My opinion on the whole XMA/tricking thing is that it takes skill and atleticism to pull off a lot of that ****, so if you can't do it, don't knock it.
Yes, it's not a Martial art. Yes, eXtreme starts with an E. They know this and don't care, it's supposed to be fun. -
