Tearing Up My Proximals

I have been useing Title MMA glove for a while now. At first tearing up my knuckles was acceptable. It had been a while since I had done any serious bag work and it was too be expected. But I am tired of it now. My index and middle proximal interphalangeles are torn to ****. For those who don't care for anatomy, it's middle joint on your fingers. My gloves come to the middle knuckle and end and this is what's tearing up my fingers. Skinned knuckles are one thing. These are lacerations to the joint. Anybody have experience with this and have suggestions for better gloves. I am about to run out of butterfly bandages and superglue. That and the wife is pissed cuz I bleed all over the egyptian cotton sheets.

Modify your gloves by extending all four fingers
with strips of soft fine leather.
Stitch them neatly so they look like they belong.

I agree with the guy who said harbinger, They have that extra knuckle pad that covers up the part of the finger you're talking about. Plus they're the classic MMA glove form the old-school, and their built to last. There are a lot of clones out there that are built in the same fashion, but I can't attest to their worth. I'm a bit of a harbinger nuthugger.
