a sports columnist needs something to have an opinion about every day--the more inflammatory the better, in most cases. beyond that, sportswriters tend to be conservative, close-minded asswipes in general.

Honestly off the top of my head I'm not sure. I have heard rumblings that Mark Pavelich has a gym where he trains MFC fighters, such as MacDonald. They have an agreement with Gold's gym at WEM. Believe there was a press release on the MFC website. Other than that I couldn't tell ya. Unaware if they have an actual commercial gym supporting them or not.

There are plenty of loopholes Johnny. Look at Bo Jackson and he even had conflicting proffesional engagements for both Baseball and Football. And I do believe he got hit tit in a ringer from either the raiders (or whoever the **** he played for) or the royals about missing a game. I know of alot of pro atheletes that violate there "health/wellbeing" contract and it amount to a meager fine in most cases.
