I would train under gene lebell, marcelo garcia, jean jacques machado, eddie bravo, alexander karelin, any good freestyle wrestling coach from oklahoma, some famous sambo guy-I'm too scared of Fedor though- ramon dekkers and rocky marciano, maybe mohammed ali can teach footwork
aside from overdosing my grappling and stand up, I'd go train with cirque du solei contortionists or probably even sifu shi yan ming.
I'm pretty sure my skill, strenght, flexibility, and knowledge would be insane after that.
I guess I just have to stretch a lot and lift lots of weights when I'm not at my gym. coaching yourself works too.

One of Alexander the Great's soldiers was messing with him, so they threw down. Coragus donned his armor, javelin, spear and sword. Dioxippus just oiled up and grabbed a club.
He dodged the hurled javelin.
He broke the spear with his club.
He threw Coragus before he could grab his sword.
Then just stepped on his neck with arms raised.
Then there's Arvanitis, Helio, Kano, Bravo, etc. Basically the founders.

What I don't understand is why anyone would want to train with the source of the art rather than an innovator.
It follows the line of thinking my narrow minde, uninformed TKD teacher had: "I'd train with the Gracies, any of them"
When clearly the machados are better.
Hmmm....Who would I rather train with: The guy who invented wrestling and had no preceding master OR a wrestling legend that knows how to train and is technical such as alexander karelin?
It's like saying I'd rather train ancient pankration than MMA, everybody knows MMA is more technical.
There's certainly no reason to believe this. What we have is a society of martial hobbyists at best. What do you thing boy nobles did to occupy themselves all day?

Oh dear, I believe my immaturity is showing again....

I'd love to train with Scathach, the mysterious warrior woman who taught Cu Chulainn the ways of Irish Kung Fu.
Who wouldn't want to learn how to throw darts with their toes?
And I'm not going to lie, I have a bit of a thing for strong, independent women, who are noted for their ability to kill dudes by the score. I've had a crush on Athena for a long time now.
To Fo' realzies answer this;
Jack Dempsey (Striking) & Genki Sudo (Grappling, but more importantly, DANCING).
Galvao, Saulo, Jacare, or Garcia.
Boy nobles? that's a new one to me.

I'm pretty sure those guys didn't have gogoplatas.
I'm also pretty sure the same **** was re-invented over and over again for every group, but they didn't have all the grappling moves we have now. You have to go to asia to find somebody that can kick and elbow correctly.
I think those guys were more of a weightlifting clique than a knowledgeble bunch. If they play fought all the fucking time I can give them better timing and more skill in basics than the modern warrior though.
