Wow, I thought I already posted in this thread but I guess not. Here goes:

I train with Paul Creighton a Renzo Gracie black belt. Our new location is beautiful with 2400+ sq ft of mat space a cage wall and a great heavy bag and weight training area. I think our best attribute is a really deep selection of high blue belts and Purple belts. Rolling with a variety of good training partners really prepares you.

I was recently in New Orleans just a couple weeks ago. I am a purple belt under Luis Togno in Charlotte NC. I was in New Orleans with my wife on business, and trained at NOLA BJJ (www.nolabjj.com) - it was great. They had guys of all levels, from first day beginners all the way up to black belts.

I went to a class taught by Tran (Brown Belt) and one by Marco (black belt.) They have a couple other black belts as well. Everyone was really inviting and genuinely warm, no spazzing or snatching of submissions to be found.

I didn't train elsewhere, but I certainly recommend NOLA BJJ for quality of instruction and the variety of technical training partners available.


Now that I read this, it looks like an ad - but seriously, check them out if you're in town.

Under the clubs listing there is Npc-Brantford .What is this?My searching only turns up a highschool?Bit puzzling as all of the other clubs listed are privately run or run out of a University.

I emailed their support asking about it days ago (no reply back so far)
Does anyone who lives or trains in the Brantford,Ontario area have better insight into this?

Think of this as a living FAQ of sorts.

Good idea. My contribution:

-Judo club "92", Nis, Serbia.

-Location: fire/police station gym (in the firehouse) near the Boulevard, behind the health centre.

-Training times & fees: training sessions on Mon, Wen, Fri from 7.30 pm, but also Tue and Thu from 7.00 pm. Membership fee: 800 RSD/month (about 8 US$)

-Training sessions led by: Srecko Krstic Sensei (Mon, Tue, Fri) and Ivana Stojkovic (Tue and Thu)

-Member of the Judo Union of Central Serbia.

Are there any gyms in London that teach muay thai..... that a student can afford, every where Iv seen usually costs around £100 a month :(
