Style: Shorei-ryu & Kumdo & TKD--
A project for those interested is to see when GM Ji Han-jae calims to add in Taekkyon kicking to HKD. Compare that to when TKD started expanding their kicking techniques. There is a belief that TKD took a lot of their kicks from HKD. Things to keep in mind that GM Won Kuk Lee claims that when he taught Chungdokwan, there were only 4-8 basic kicks (for the life of me I don't recall the actual number), but anyway they were pretty much the same kicks but used at different ranges. A couple of the founding fathers of TKD claim to have Takkyon experience, but have never proven that fully. Even in their beginnings they never showed such skills in their teaching. Anyway....there you go. Something to think about and prove right or wrong or neither. :)
