My father in law practised 5 ancestor fist back in Burma in the 1940's- he mentioned a form that was very similar to Sanchin, at least in Appearance, and a weapon ( beggars stick?) similar to a Okinawan Tonfa, only a little longer. is this the same System?

If a well rounded fighter, say with a background in BJJ Judo and MT, was training in your school for a limited period of time what would you teach them that isn’t covered well in those arts.?
Or stated another way.
What do you teach that is both effective and lacking in the mentioned arts?
